Garden Diary - 4th May 2013

I have hardly done any Garden Diaries this year because there hasn't been a lot happening until now. Finally however the warmth is beginning shine on my patch of suburbia and the ground has burst forth with colour.

Bluebells - always a pleasure to behold.

Hollyhocks - grown from seed last year - so should flower this year.

The Magnolia shedding its spring blossom.

Beautiful and delicate bleeding heart.

First Aqualigia of the year to flower.

Cheeky pansies and bluebells.

The belle of my bed at the moment - Euphorbia.

The last of the Fritillaries.

  1. Everything is looking beautiful. I'm intrigued by the Euphorbia, I don't think I've ever seen it before, wow. It's gorgeous.

    1. Many thanks for your lovely comment. I think Euphorbia is sometimes known as Spurge - the best thing is that it just grew there I didn't have to buy it:)

I really appreciate it if you can take time to comment - I love to read other people's thoughts and ideas.
Take care x
